Ultra-quick Samsung WebKit review

On Thursday I got a Samsung bada test phone (the Wave) that runs the latest installment of Samsung WebKit, and of course I subjected it to various tests. The verdict is clear: excellent browser. As far as I’m concerned it ousts Opera Mobile from my personal top three.
Apple Releases Safari 5
The update seems to be slowly seeding out and includes:
- A 30% faster Javascript runtime
- Extensions!
- A Reader button (which puts the page’s content into a distraction-free, easy to read format)
- Lots of new HTML5 modules/features like form validation, draggable, EventSource and WebSocket.
Magnifying Glass using CSS3 and JavaScript. Similar to the effect Apple is using on their new iPhone 4 page.
